What is a Public Insurance Adjuster?
A public insurance adjuster is a professional claims adjuster who represents the policyholder during an insurance claim. The public adjuster will appraise and negotiate a claimant’s insurance claim.
Public adjusters are licensed by state departments of insurance to legally represent the rights of an insured during the insurance claims process.
Their main tasks are to perform detailed appraisals of the damage. They review your insurance policy to determine all available coverage. They perform repair estimates and collect expert evidence such as roof samples, weather records and engineering consultations.
A public insurance adjuster will negotiate on your behalf with the insurance company’s representatives during the entire claim process.
We are commercial public insurance adjusters.
Our management team is comprised of former large-loss adjusters, insurance company TPA’s, insurance agents & policy experts, an MBA accountant, and licensed & certified estimators with engineering firms.
We will complete a thorough policy review to verify coverage of your loss and maximize your claim. We examine all applicable coverages like property damage, business interruption and personal property.
If you have a new claim, All American Public Adjusters will file your claim and communicate with the insurance adjuster on your behalf. Not only does this save you time and frustration, it also helps expedite the inspection process.
Estimating & Inspection Services
Our team of Public Adjusters will meet with the insurance company’s adjuster at the loss to complete a detailed inspection of damage. We don’t rely on the insurance adjuster’s estimate to determine the value of the claim. We complete our own estimate of damages that reflects the full legal value of the loss.
Appraisal and Umpire
Appraisal is a form of claim settlement which is like a pyramid. At the bottom are the non bias appraisers representing each side. These appraisers will try to settle the claim with little dispute. When neither side can agree, a neutral umpire is appointed on the top of the pyramid to mediate the dispute. The findings of the umpire are binding so long as this is handled properly without collusion.
